Envisors was retained by A.G. Armstrong to provide surveying and planning and engineering services for a 25-acre proposed commercial site located between a Publix Center and Home Depot commercial site. This site is located in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of US 27 and Thompson Nursery Road about one half mile north of the Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales, Polk County, Florida.  This  site is designed and built to contain the infrastructure for more than 120,000 square feet of mixed commercial space to include Kohls, a bank, restaurants, Gate gas station and a Holiday Inn Express to name a few.

Envisors provided all surveying services including boundary, topographic, right-of-way, legal descriptions and sketches for easements and dedications, assistance with platting and dedications for cross access provisions, and construction staking.

Envisors coordinated the mapping and was successful in designing and permitting the site, which is located within a FEMA defined flood zone where more than 75 percent of the site is considered as floodplain encroachment.  As part of the floodplain assistance, Envisors provided services to obtain a FEMA Map Conditional Letter of Map Revision and a subsequent Letter of Map Revision.  In order to adequately permit the revisions, Envisors developed a floodplain mitigation plan to provide compensation for the proposed floodplain impacts. 

Envisors was also authorized by A.G. Armstrong to begin the construction administration services to facilitate the fast-tracked construction schedule.
