Envisors was retained by R.A. Florida Development to perform surveying, land planning (zoning and land use changes), civil engineering design, and permitting services for a large single family residential development within the City of Auburndale located in central Polk County, Florida. The property, formerly consisting of a orange grove, consists of approximately 185 acres of land and is generally located on the west side of Adams Barn Road, approximately 2 miles north of SR 92.

The Winter Haven CRA prepared a Downtown Community Redevelopment Plan (CRP) to systematically address downtown issues and community needs, including enhancements to the downtown drainage system and the physical appearance of the urban space. The CRP sets forth recommendations for improvements that include streetscapes, gateways, connectors, water and sewer system retrofits, drainage system improvements, park reconstruction, parking areas, tree planting, waterfront and canal improvements, and new civic buildings.

City of Winter Haven Fire Station No. 1 Facility

Envisors was retained to work under a construction manager at risk arrangement with the City of Winter Haven and McCree Design Builders to prepare the civil site engineering construction plans, assist with the attainment of permits, and perform construction observation and certification services for the Winter Haven Fire Station No. 1 facility located at Avenue G and U.S. 17 South. The new 21,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility will be the City’s first “green” structure as a Silver level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified building.

Street and 4th N.E. Street.
